Deepal 07 (S07 or S7) is a mid-size electric crossover from the Deepal brand, a subsidiary of the Chinese company Changan. Introduced in China in March 2023 under the Shenlan brand, which was later renamed Deepal. In terms of dimensions, the Deepal 07 is close to the Tesla Model Y (length 4750 mm, wheelbase 2900 mm), and it is going to compete with it in the market. The design was developed by specialists from Italy. The interior looks laconic, but expensive: there are only a couple of buttons on the steering wheel, instead of a dashboard there is a standard projection screen, a 15.6-inch multimedia touch display rotates 15 degrees left and right. There is Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The equipment is as rich as possible, offering a wide range of advanced security systems. There is a camera installed on the steering column that monitors the driver's condition. The front passenger has a retractable footrest and a wide range of adjustment options. In China, the Deepal 07 is presented as an electric car in three versions with rear-wheel drive, the maximum range is 628 km (according to the CLTC standard). There is also a rechargeable series hybrid, where the motor acts as a generator. The suspension is independent spring.
