Denza is a Chinese automobile brand, established by BYD and Mercedes-Benz in 2010 for luxury electric vehicles. In 2021, the Germans reduced their share in the joint venture, making Denza a fully-fledged subsidiary of the Chinese corporation BYD. Previously, the company produced the X SUV, and now offers a luxurious 7-seater minivan called D9. In the future, five new families are expected, each with its own letter: D, E, N, Z, and A. The first to be released will be a crossover and minivan, followed by a sedan, coupe, and something else.
