Exeed LX – overview
The Exeed LX is a compact crossover and currently the most affordable model from the premium Exeed brand, which is owned by Chinese manufacturer Chery. This model is the second offering from Exeed, following the Exeed TX. Launched in China in September 2019, it quickly set its sights on conquering export markets in 2020. The crossover is based on the same compact T1X platform as the now-retired Tiggo 7 and its long-wheelbase version, the Tiggo 7 Pro. However, the Exeed LX boasts a more modern exterior design and an original interior. Under the hood, the Exeed LX is powered by a 1.6-liter, 4-cylinder turbo engine producing 197 hp, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. It features front-wheel drive.
