FAW Besturn X40 – overview
The FAW Besturn X40 is a compact SUV with a body length of 4,310 mm. It debuted in China in 2016. There were two versions with a 1.6-liter gasoline naturally-aspirated engine with 114 hp, paired with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission or with an electric motor with a capacity of 190 hp and a traction battery with a capacity of 52.5 kWh. Perfect for the city, the SUV had a ground clearance of 180 mm, only front-wheel drive, semi-independent rear suspension, which excluded all-wheel drive versions.
