Ford EcoSport – overview
The Ford Ecosport is a small SUV produced since 2003, created by the Brazilian Ford Car Development Center. The vehicle was built on the basis of the European Fusion hatchback, and its first generation was produced in Brazil only for Latin American countries. The vehicle turned out to be successful, with a total of 700 thousand units sold. In 2012, the second generation model, built on the 6th generation Ford Fiesta platform, has already become global. It offers a wide range of engines and options for both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions.
