Ford Freestyle generations
The Ford Freestyle is a large SUV produced from 2005 to 2009. The 3-row, 6-7 seater vehicle shared a platform with the Five Hundred and Montego models and was equipped with both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The SUV came with a 3-liter engine. The Freestyle was the first Ford model to have a CVT transmission. In 2005, the SUV was nominated for the Truck of the Year award in the USA. As a result, the Freestyle took second place after another Ford model, the Escape Hybrid.
