Ford Galaxie (USA) - catalog and technical specifications
The Ford Galaxie is an American full-size car produced in the United States from 1959 to 1974. Initially, the Fairlane model was sold under the Galaxie name. Its model range comprised six body types: 2- and 4-door sedans, 2- and 4-door hardtops, convertibles, and hardtop convertibles with a folding hard top. The body of the car was painted mainly in two colors. In 1960, the Galaxie became an independent model, which was the most expensive and best-equipped in the Ford series. Then the car received a completely new body-on-frame structure and unusual headlights, which later became a family trait, with the headlights being paired in two in a vertical plane. In 1965, Ford set a power record with a 7-liter engine with 657-hp installed on the Galaxie coupe.
