Ford Probe - catalog and technical specifications
The Ford Probe is a car jointly developed by Ford and Mazda. The sports coupe was based on the excellent Mazda MX-6 model. The Probe was produced from 1988 to 1997 in two generations. The front-wheel drive coupe, which dreamed of becoming a Mustang, did not become one. It was equipped with a Mazda 2.2-liter 4-cylinder engine or its version with a turbine producing 147 hp, as well as automatic and manual gearboxes. The model was discontinued in 1997, and was replaced by a new Cougar model.
