Geely Emgrand EC8 – overview
The Geely Emgrand EC8 is a front-wheel drive business class sedan, the flagship of the Geely model range. It was produced in China from 2010 to 2015. The car featured 2.0-liter and 2.4-liter engines with variable valve timing technology, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox or 6-speed automatic transmission with manual mode. The sedan had a MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension. As the flagship of the range, the EC8 received a full range of active and passive safety features, which enabled it to win the maximum 5 star C-NCAP safety rating.
