Geely EX5 is a mid-size 5-seater electric crossover, a global model of the Chinese company Geely. Debuted in the spring of 2024 under the name Geely Galaxy E5, becoming the fourth representative of the electrified Galaxy family. Dimensions: length - 4615 mm, wheelbase - 2750 mm. The crossover received hidden door handles and a low aerodynamic drag coefficient: Cd = 0.269. The declared ground clearance is 173 mm. The front suspension is with McPherson struts, and the rear is a multi-link design. The minimalist interior has separate screens for instruments (10.2 inches) and a media system (15.4 inches), a two-level central tunnel and a minimal set of physical buttons. The on-board electronics are controlled by the Flyme OS operating system. The trunk volume is 461 liters, with the second row folded down the compartment holds up to 1877 liters. The standard equipment includes 6 airbags, ESP, climate control, heated seats and steering wheel, electric driver's seat, all-round cameras, rear parking sensor, cruise control, light and rain sensors, LED optics and 18-inch wheels. The advanced configuration adds a panoramic roof, contour interior lighting, projection display, front seats with ventilation and massage, adaptive cruise control. Geely EX5 is built on the modular GEA platform, a simplified version of the SEA architecture. Only one version is offered so far, with front-wheel drive: the electric motor produces 218 hp, the LFP battery has a capacity of 60.2 kW / h. The maximum speed is limited to 175 km / h, acceleration to "hundreds" takes 6.9 seconds. The rated range, depending on the configuration, is 425-430 km (according to the WLTP cycle).
