Today, Hennessey Performance Engineering proudly holds the title of an American hypercar manufacturer. But before, it was a small yet very determined company from Texas, founded by John Hennessey in 1991 as a tuning studio for enhancing already powerful cars. The company specialized in "speeding up fast cars," modifying the most famous sports models from American manufacturers. But, as often happens, when you tire of remodeling others' work, at some point you begin to create your own. Hence, the Hennessey Special Vehicles division was born, established specifically for a new project, their own hypercar - the Hennessey Venom F5.
