Honda Element generations

The Honda Element is a compact SUV produced from 2002 to 2010. It was built on the basis of the popular CR-V, but its style was completely different, with cubic shapes. The body and wheelbase were shorter, 198 mm higher and wider. The 2.4-liter engine was borrowed from the same CR-V, but the body was reinforced, since the model was known for the absence of central pillars. In compliance with the best traditions of the segment, the SUV was available with both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive systems, both with manual and automatic transmissions. It was officially sold in the US, Canada and Japan.
