Honda Horizon – overview
The Honda Horizon is a body-on-frame SUV, an analogue of the Isuzu Bighorn, produced by Honda under a cooperation agreement under which the same vehicles are assembled simultaneously by several automakers under different names. According to this agreement, Honda borrowed SUVs from Isuzu, while sharing passenger sedans with its partners. The Horizon is the Handling by Lotus equivalent of the Bighorn, adorned with specially designed aluminum wheels. The vehicle was equipped with a 3.2-liter V-shaped 6-cylinder gasoline engine and a 3.1-liter turbocharged diesel engine, a connected front axle with a reduction gear range. In 1999, the SUV was discontinued.
