Honda XR-V generations
The Honda XR-V is an affordable compact crossover, a version of the "global" Honda HR-V for the Chinese market, produced by Dongfeng-Honda since 2014. This vehicle is appealing to the Chinese market due to its competitive pricing and modern safety features. The "almost HR-V" is not only cheaper but also differs from its global counterpart in bumper design and equipment. In the fall of 2022, sales of the second generation will begin, initially offering a front-wheel drive version with a 1.5-liter atmospheric engine and a continuously variable transmission, with more variants promised later.
