The American automaker Hudson founded in 1909 manufactured open-type light vehicles. However, the company gained real fame only during World War II when in 1941 Hudson’s 1942 model was presented which sold more than 80 thousand copies. After the war, Hudson started developing a new generation of vehicles investing all its profits in upgrading its manufacturing facilities. The new generation, however, did not meet the expectations of buyers and the output gradually declined. 1954 saw the release of Hudson’s last model.
