Jensen, a UK car company founded in 1934, manufactured sports cars and commercial vehicles. Jensen's first own car was built with support from Ford. Famous Jensen S-type was very popular on the West Coast of the United States and in France. Interceptor became one of the classic cars of British engineering. In 2010, all rights to the Jensen brand and trademark were purchased from the descendants of the brand’s founders. Jensen was acquired by Healy Sports that considered the creation of a brand new model based on Interceptor its main mission.
