Kaiyi car models in Israel

Founded in 2014, the Kaiyi brand, formerly owned by the Chinese company Chery, manufacturers affordable cars for young people. In 2018, 51% of the company's shares were transferred from Chery to the state, however, cooperation with the former parent company continued. Kaiyi provides the Chery with chassis and engines, in particular the 1.6 and 2.0-liter turbo engines by Acteco. Since 2021, Kaiyi Auto has been exporting its products to 20 countries and regions, including Africa, the Middle East, South America, Southeast Asia and Europe. Among the exported models are X3, X3 pro, X3 pro EV and E5, the total volume is more than 5,000 units. In 2022, Italy joined the brand’s international networks, and the Kaiyi X3 Pro SUV began to be supplied there at the end of July, and will be sold under the name WAVE 3. Read the article
