Kia EV4 - catalog and technical specifications

The Kia EV4 is a mid-size electric passenger car in 4-door sedan and 5-door hatchback bodies, presented on February 27, 2025. Sedans are produced in South Korea, hatchbacks - in Slovakia. The design is solved in the signature Opposites United concept with a streamlined silhouette. Thanks to retractable door handles, a flat bottom and other tricks, it was possible to achieve a low aerodynamic drag coefficient: Cx = 0.23. Both versions have the same wheelbase of 2820 mm, but differ in length - 4730 mm for the sedan and 4430 mm for the hatchback. The difference in length determines the differences in trunk volume: the sedan compartment holds 490 liters, the hatchback - 435 liters. The interior of the Kia EV4 is designed in a minimalist style. The front panel has a 30-inch screen that combines 12.3-inch instrument and multimedia displays, with a 5.3-inch climate control screen located between them. The microclimate can be controlled using analog keys on the central panel. A 12-inch projection display is optionally available. A wireless charging pad and cup holders are located on the central tunnel. The central armrest box is equipped with a retractable table. The new Kia EV4 is built on the E-GMP modular platform with a 400-volt electrical system, McPherson struts at the front, multi-link suspension at the rear and optional adaptive shock absorbers. At the start of sales, the only version with one electric motor on the front axle with a capacity of 204 hp is announced. There are two batteries: with a capacity of 58.3 and 81.4 kW / h. With a more compact battery, the electric car will accelerate to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds, with a larger one - in 7.7 seconds. The maximum speed is the same for all versions - 170 km/h. The sedan's range is 430 or 630 km, the hatchback's - 410 or 590 km.
