Kia PV5 is a mid-size commercial electric family of Kia, presented at the end of February 2025, includes various modifications: PV5 Passenger minivan, PV5 Cargo van, PV5 Crew version with a 2-row cabin and a cargo compartment with a standard cargo securing system, options with an extended base and a high roof, a special modification PV5 WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle) for transporting passengers in wheelchairs, chassis with a PV5 Chassis Cab for installing various third-party add-ons. The exterior of all Kia PV5 is made in the signature style of Opposites United with an almost complete absence of a hood, vertical running lights and headlights located in the bumper. The low glazing line of the front doors provides good visibility, a massive body kit made of unpainted plastic increases practicality. The rear of the minivan has a lift-up door, while the van has classic hinged doors. The standard length is 4695 mm with a wheelbase of 2995 mm. In the cabin, all versions have the same front panel with 7-inch digital instruments and a 12.9-inch multimedia display based on Android Automotive OS. The minivan is equipped with a 3-row cabin with wide transformation options. The van has two standard seats for the driver and passenger in the front. The Kia PV5 is built on a reinforced version of the E-GMP.S platform with a 400-volt electrical system. A single electric motor with an output of 163 hp and 250 Nm is installed in the front. A basic LFP battery with a capacity of 43.3 kWh is offered for the van. Other modifications will receive NMC batteries with a capacity of 51.5 or 71.2 kWh. The most advanced version has a declared range of 400 km.
