Kia Tasman - catalog and technical specifications

The Kia Tasman is a full-size body-on-frame pickup truck, the first in the history of the Kia brand, introduced in October 2024. The name refers to the island state of Australia. It is based on a new frame platform with front independent suspension on double wishbones and a rear solid axle on leaf springs. For a comfortable ride, amplitude-dependent shock absorbers with hydraulic bumpers are provided. In terms of brutality, the 5.4-meter Kia pickup truck will give all its classmates a head start. Ground clearance - 224-252 mm (depending on version). The fording depth is 800 mm at speeds up to 7 km/h. Load capacity is from 1017 to 1195 kg, permissible towed trailer weight is 3500 kg. There are versions with a single-row or double-row cab, with a traditional cargo compartment or a high cargo bed with folding sides. The interior, despite the utilitarian nature of the pickup truck, looks stylish. Inside, there is a single 3-screen unit for instruments and a media system (each 12.3 inches diagonal), between which there is a 5-inch display for climate settings. The equipment includes a dual wireless charging pad and two USB-C ports. There is a full-fledged household outlet for 220-240 V. Production will begin in 2025.
