During the entire existence of the model, a total of 4,099 units were produced, which made it the most mass-produced 12-cylinder Lamborghini in the history of the company. The LP640 version was equipped with a 6.5-liter V12 engine boosted by 60 hp, which improved the dynamics: the maximum speed reached 340 km/h instead of 330 km/h.
