Lamborghini Sesto Elemento generations

The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is a 2-seater sports coupe based on the Lamborghini Gallardo. It was unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. The name translates from Italian as "The Sixth Element", which indicates the 6th element of the periodic table of Mendeleev, carbon. It is part of the carbon fiber used to make the chassis, driveshaft and suspension components of the car. Thanks to this, the car’s weight was reduced to 1,179 kg. The specific power was 562 hp per ton of weight. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h occurred in about 2.5 seconds, while the top speed was 320 km/h. The engine and transmission for the Sesto Elemento were borrowed from the Gallardo Superleggera: a 5.2-liter V10 engine was combined with a 6-speed robotic gearbox.
