In my humble opinion, all the Lamborghinis are beautiful. Choosing the most beautiful one is not for the faint-hearted, to which I belong when I see these cars. They are all worthy of the pedestal and the title of the most beautiful car in the universe.

10 most beautiful Lamborghinis

Lamborghini. Bodywork, Exterior.

In my humble opinion, all the Lamborghinis are beautiful. Choosing the most beautiful one is not for the faint-hearted, to which I belong when I see these cars. They are all worthy of the pedestal and the title of the most beautiful car in the universe.

It is hard to tell whether Ferruccio Lamborghini believed that we would admire his supercars in the 21st century. What we know for sure is that he founded his company immediately after the Second World War, and released the first tractor in 1949. Being a notable ‘agricultural worker’ and ‘machine operator’, he criticized Enzo Ferrari for the clutches used on Ferrari sports cars. And as expected, he received a rude answer that ‘a tractor manufacturer cannot know anything about sports cars’. Feruccio decided to prove the opposite and he did it. Soon Lamborghini became quite serious competition for the ‘distinguished’ Ferrari. In 1997, the Italian company entered the Volkswagen Group, but its name is still associated with the word ‘sports car’. Feruccio proved everything to everyone. And thanks to his persistence, we can still enjoy the expressive and extravagant Lambos.

Here are the most beautiful cars of the Italian brand (in our humble opinion). The contestants are organized on a first-come, first-served basis, from the start of production to the present day. It is up to you to decide which of them is the most beautiful.

350GT, 1964−1966

Let’s start with the very first model of the automaker, which was released in 1963. The 350GTV is Lamborghini’s first production car. The chassis was built by the famous engineer Gian Paolo Dallara, and the team hired by Lamborghini included such leading designers and engineering specialists as Paolo Stanzani, Bob Wallace, and Franco Scaglione. Ferrucho Lamborghini did not like the design of the first sports coupe. So, they released only one model, which has miraculously survived to this day. In 1964, the company introduced the Lamborghini 350GT, the second version of the GTV model. The design was modified by the Carrozzeria Touring design studio. In this form, the car went into serial production, which lasted from 1964 to 1966, and a total of 120 cars were made.

Miura, 1966−1973

In 1966, the manufacturer released the legendary Miura P400, which had a wide and squat body line, especially at the front. Thanks to this, the model resembles the purebred racing cars of those times. The car, created by Marcello Gandini from the Bertone studio, became a classic of 1960s automotive design and the first truly iconic Lamborghini. It was Miura that made Ferrari ‘step aside’. The Miura, designed by the Bertone studio, remains one of the most beautiful sports cars in human history. Its loyal fans included Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Miles Davis and other celebrities.

Silhouette, 1976

In 1976, the Bertone studio helped create the Lamborghini Silhouette, which looks especially impressive with the roof removed. This is the first Lamborghini car with a retractable rooftop. The model, released in the amount of 54 cars, was rather a creative idea of the Bertone studio. The logical continuation of the Silhouette was the Jalpa model, which retained the refined style of its predecessor.

Countach, 1974−1990

In 1971, the Lamborghini Countach LP500 prototype saw the light. The first concept of the future famous model was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. That concept car became the basis for the subsequent masterpieces of the brand. The Countach was the first model to feature the flat, like a flying saucer, wedge-shaped silhouette and ‘guillotine’ doors. The legendary Lamborghini Countach was designed by Marcello Gandini. In August 2021, Lamborghini celebrated the 50th anniversary of the supercar with the revival of the legend, releasing a modern version of the Countach LPI 800-4 with a batch of only 112 cars. The entire batch was sold out in just a couple of days.

Murciélago, 2001−2010

This model is the successor to the Lamborghini Diablo. It was designed by the Belgian Luc Donckerwolke, the designer of Audi, and was the first model released after the acquisition of the brand by Audi. Past designs by Bertone and Zagato were rejected. During the entire existence of the model, 4,099 models were produced, which makes it the most large-scale 12-cylinder Lamborghini in the history of the company. And the Murcielago’s design was used as the basis for all future Lamborghinis.

Gallardo, 2003−2013

Lamborghini entered a new era with the Gallardo model, which, along with the Murcielago, boasted sharp and strict design lines. The brand could not achieve its profitability goals for a long time, and the incredible commercial success of the ‘affordable’ Gallardo came in handy. The Gallardo became the most large-scale Lamborghini model with 14,022 cars being built in 10 years of production. The car, powered by a V10 engine, is named after the Spanish fighting bull breed, like many of its ‘siblings’.

Reventon, 2008

Being the most expensive car ever created, it proves that, despite the release of the democratic Gallardo, the company continues to invest in true supercars. The approximate cost of the Reventon is one million euros ($ 1.5 million). According to the official press release, only 20 cars have been released for sale and one (labeled 0/20) for the Lamborghini Museum. The price literally blows up the brain, which fully justifies the name of this model, as a ‘reventón’ can be translated from Spanish as an ‘explosion’.

Aventador, 2011 - present

Hiding a V12 engine under its hood, the Aventador looks like a stealth fighter jet and is still eye-catching. The car was designed by Felippo Perini. The Aventador has a wide, streamlined, aggressive, road-hugging body, proudly trampling the ground with its large and wide wheels. The manufacturer initially planned to limit the production of the supercar to 4 thousand cars. But in 2016, the company reached the milestone of 5,000 units, and in 2020, the number grew to 10,000.

Sesto Elemento, 2011

The Sesto Elemento is no longer a supercar, but a true hypercar, one of the most expensive and fastest Lamborghinis. Thus, it costs about $2 million and accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, while the maximum speed is 320 km/h The name of the car refers to the 6th element of the periodic table, carbon, which is part of carbon fiber (used in the chassis, propeller shaft and suspension of the car). The body is made of carbon fiber mixed with plastic based on the latest technology. Thanks to carbon fiber reinforced plastic, the weight of the Sesto Elemento has been reduced to 1,179 kg.

Huracan, 2014 - present

One of the newest models is a mid-engine and all-wheel drive supercar, the Lamborghini Huracan. The car successfully combines expression, strict lines and laconicism. The model shares its platform with the Audi R8 and is a bestseller despite its $240K base price. The Huracan accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, and the maximum speed is 325 km/h. The new Huracan LP 580-2 was unveiled at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show. It is distinguished by the rear-wheel drive layout. In 2019, the manufacturer released the new Lamborghini Huracan Evo, which received better aerodynamic parameters, a different exterior design, more advanced equipment and a fully controlled chassis.
