Lancia Stratos generations

The Lancia Stratos is a mid-engined, rear-wheel drive coupe built for rallying in 1973. The prototype’s exterior, developed by the chief designer of the Bertone bodywork studio, Marcello Gandini, shocked the Lancia management, but it was decided to continue the work, which paid off in the future, as the Stratos won races many times. It was equipped with a 2.4-liter Ferrari Dino engine, which accelerated the production car to 100 km/h in 6 seconds, while the maximum speed was 230 km/h. A total of 492 units were made.
