Land Rover Series III – overview
The Land Rover Series III was produced from 1971 to 1985 as a continuation of the Series II. The vehicle was a 7-seater SUV, estate or pickup that was continuously upgraded throughout its history. But the vehicle kept its box-welded frame and off-road body kit. The Series III turned out to be much more popular than the Series I and Series II. Thus, from 1971 to 1985, a total of 440,000 Land Rover Series III models were built, which, given the utilitarian format of the vehicle, became an absolute success.
