Maruti Suzuki Alto – overview
The Maruti Alto is a small city car produced by Suzuki from 2000 to 2012. The model was sold through a subsidiary of Maruti Suzuki. The first generation was an Indian version of the fifth generation Suzuki Alto kei car, but the second was turned into a completely authentic car designed specifically for the Indian market. The best-selling hatchback in India was a small car, weighing only 820 kg. This fuel-efficient and dynamic car was popular for city streets with chaotic traffic. Of special note were such technical elements as power steering, brake booster, etc.
