Mazda BT-50 generations

The Mazda BT-50 is a mid-sized pickup, designed for Asia, Australia, Africa and South America. There it lives for the last 15 years and even protects animals. Introduced in 2006, the vehicle has already changed three generations. The third generation was released in 2020. The first two generations of the pickup were a transformed Ford Ranger (due to the fact that until 2008 Ford owned about a third of the shares of Mazda Motor Corporation). The third generation BT-50 is the fruit of cooperation with another Japanese company, Isuzu. The vehicle copies the Isuzu D-Max pickup, which is well known in Israel. The frame, cab frame, cargo platform and some body parts were borrowed from it.
