Ford Ranger – overview
The Ford Ranger is the best-selling compact pickup sold in the United States from 1987 to 2004. First introduced in the USA, the model became global with time. From 1998 to 2011, the model was made by Mazda. In 2011, the manufacturer presented the next generation, developed by Ford Australia. In 2020, the Ford veteran remained one of the best-selling mid-size pickups in the world with 340,000 units, second only to the Toyota Hilux and its 450,000 sales. Therefore, the release of a new generation caused a sensation in November 2021. Ford's Australian division studied the reviews of more than five thousand owners, so the new incarnation received a longer wheelbase, increased capacity and a brutal exterior.
