Nissan Navara – overview
The Nissan Navara is a pickup produced by the Japanese automaker Nissan since 1985. It comes with single, one and a half or double cabs. In fact, the Datsun Truck light pickups have been produced in Japan by Nissan since 1955 (until 1997). But since 1983 they have been sold under the Nissan brand, and the names Navara and Frontier appeared in 1997. But in some markets (Australia, New Zealand), the name Navara already existed, so 1985 is considered to be the year of birth of the pickup: it was then that the trucks and cars began to be sold under the Nissan brand in the large North American market. In the Japanese domestic market, the car continued to be called the Nissan Datsun. The modern pickup is built according to all the classic canons of this segment: a supporting frame, a 4-cylinder diesel engine, Part Time all-wheel drive with a "power" low range. The vehicle looks masculine and strong. Its handling accuracy is also moderate. At the same time the pickup is comfortable and has a powerful suspension.
