Mazda Eunos Cosmo generations

The Mazda Eunos Cosmo is a rear-wheel drive D-segment coupe produced from 1990 to 1995. The only Mazda car with a three-rotor engine, which also had a 4-speed automatic transmission and the first car in the world to receive a built-in GPS navigation system, did not become popular in Japan due to the fact that the Eunos Cosmo did not meet Japanese size regulations, and buyers had to pay a hefty annual tax for a large car. Sales were not even affected by the fact that the three-rotor engine had a displacement of 2 liters, making it the largest Mazda rotary engine available for sale. And the maximum speed provided by such an engine was 255 km/h.
