Mazda MX-30 - catalog and technical specifications
The Mazda MX-30 is Mazda's first foray into the realm of electric vehicles. This compact crossover, launched in 2020, features either an electric or hybrid powertrain. One of its distinctive design elements is the absence of a central pillar, and the slim rear doors open in the opposite direction, reminiscent of the 2003 RX-8 coupe with a rotary engine. The new Mazda MX-30 is richly equipped and furnished with cutting-edge safety systems. The initial release began with the "mild hybrid" version powered by an e-SKYACTIV G engine. The electric version hit the market in January 2021, and a Wankel rotary-piston hybrid engine variant is anticipated in 2023.
