McLaren Senna - catalog and technical specifications
The McLaren Senna is a hypercar named after the legendary Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna, a three-time Formula 1 world champion. The model premiered at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The car was based on the 720S production coupe, but due to serious design changes it was called the new, third generation. The Senna received a 4-liter V8 engine with two turbines, which was boosted to 800 hp (720 hp for the original 720S). The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch preselective robotic gearbox, paired with an improved transmission. The car is rear-wheel drive and offers 4 driving modes: Comfort, Sport, Track and Race. The latter lowers the ground clearance by a few millimeters, providing a lower center of gravity, while the suspension becomes stiffer.
