The Mercedes-Benz EQB is an electric mid-size SUV that was unveiled at the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show. It is part of the Mercedes-Benz EQ electric model range along with other models: the EQA compact SUV, the slightly larger EQC, the EQS premium liftback and the EQV minivan. The Mercedes EQB is a rather large and roomy SUV, designed for five or seven people or for up to 1,700 liters of luggage with the rear seats folded down. The electric EQB is related to the gasoline GLB. Both are built on the same platform, which was originally designed to use both internal combustion engines and electric powertrains.
