Tesla Model Y - catalog and technical specifications
The Tesla Model Y is a compact electric rear- or all-wheel drive SUV based on the Model 3 platform and intended for the mass market. It was introduced in Los Angeles on March 14, 2019. First of all, the manufacturer started production of the Long Range and Performance versions (autumn 2020), whereas the Standard version went into production in the spring of 2021. Depending on the modification, it takes the vehicle 3.7 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, while the driving range is up to 565 km. An optional third row of seats is available in a 7-seater version. Elon Musk claims that this particular SUV is destined to eventually become Tesla's best-selling model. After all, with a larger capacity, dimensions and clearance, the Model Y is not much more expensive than the Model 3.
