Mercedes GLE Coupe AMG – overview
The Mercedes-AMG GLE Coupe is a sporty all-wheel drive version with a coupe-like silhouette of the mid-size luxury E-segment SUV. The manufacturer released its first SUV with a coupe-like silhouette and the prefix "Coupe" in the name in 2015. Based on the popular GLE SUVs, the vehicle shared a platform, interior and units with them, but received its own body with the C292 index, which was somewhat similar to its siblings but still looked different. The AMG version of the coupe-crossover was an independent model, and not a modification of the usual GLE coupe with a powerful engine. The Mercedes-AMG GLE Coupe received all-wheel drive with a symmetrical center differential and an Airmatic air suspension with ADS Plus shock absorbers. The torque ratio was 40:60.
