Mercury Villager – overview
The Mercury Villager is a minivan produced from 1992 to 2002. The model was created to compete with Chrysler and General Motors models. It was produced by a joint venture between Ford and Nissan, so the Nissan Quest was considered an analogue of the Mercury Villager. The car shared a 3.0-liter VG30E V6 engine with 151 hp with the Nissan Maxima. The engine was paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission from Jatco and front-wheel drive. The model was discontinued and replaced with the Monterey in 2002.
