Mitsubishi Aspire – overview
The Mitsubishi Aspire is a dynamic mid-size sedan, a copy of the 8th generation Mitsubishi Galant with slightly modified optics and an optitron dashboard. There were both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive modifications. The car came with 1.8- and 2.0-liter engines and only an automatic transmission, which had a manual mode and an adaptive algorithm. Of special note was the unique GDI direct injection system, which appeared in 1996. The Mitsubishi Aspire was produced until the end of 2002.
