Mitsubishi Debonair generations

The Mitsubishi Debonair is a 4-door executive sedan introduced by Mitsubishi Motors in 1964 as its flagship in the Japanese market. The name means "courteous". The car was one of the first luxury sedans built in Japan. It was equipped with a 2-liter 6-cylinder engine and rear-wheel drive. The exterior was designed by former General Motors designer Hans S. Bretzner. Released in 1989, the second generation received a more spacious interior due to the front-wheel drive layout and 3-liter engines. The car was offered as a longer limousine, and also received an AMG version. The third and final generation had a 3.5-liter engine, a lidar that determined the distance to the vehicle in front, and other wonderful options. In 1999, the Mitsubishi Debonair was replaced by the Mitsubishi Proudia.
