Mitsubishi Pajero iO – overview
The Mitsubishi Pajero iO is a very compact SUV produced by the Japanese automaker Mitsubishi since 1998 in 3 and 5-door versions for Japan. The vehicle featured a monocoque body with an independent front suspension and a rigid axle rear suspension, two engines with a volume of 1.8 and 2 liters, a Super Select transmission with a locking center differential and a low range. There was also an all-wheel drive version. The attractive vehicle was designed by the Pininfarina studio. The model was discontinued in 2007 due to the popularity of SUVs.
