Mitsubishi Town Box – overview
The Mitsubishi Town Box is a subcompact minivan produced for Japan from 1999 to 2011, and later from 2014 to the present day. The vehicle has a central engine layout, rear or four-wheel drive, manual or automatic transmission and a 4-seater interior. The minivan looked fun and was functional. The second generation was developed by Suzuki under an exchange agreement. This is a common practice among Japanese manufacturers, allowing them to save money and close market niches.
