Mitsubishi Tredia - catalog and technical specifications
The Mitsubishi Tredia is a compact sedan that has been produced since 1982. It was one of the first Mitsubishi Motors cars imported and sold to the US without partner Chrysler Corporation. The car was equipped with 1.4-liter and 1.6-liter engines, as well as an unusual Super shift 2-speed gearbox with 4 speeds in each range, that is, in fact 8-speed, and the reverse gear also had two speeds. The Tredia became the company’s first model to receive a turbocharged engine. The car was also sold in Europe and Australia, and its history ended in 1990.
