Nio EL6 – overview
The Nio EL6 is a new electric crossover from the Chinese company Nio, designed for the European market. It was launched in June 2023. In China, it is known as the second generation of the popular ES6 crossover. The new model boasts a comfortable suspension, advanced autopilot, a 'zero-gravity' feature, and a large panoramic roof. The interior of the car is minimalist, with eco-friendly materials used in its finish. The front 'captain' seats slide fully back, the backrest reclines to 160 degrees, and a footrest extends out. The manufacturer refers to this as the 'zero-gravity' feature. The crossover is equipped with a dual-motor powertrain that accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. A 100 kWh battery provides a range of up to 625 km. An advanced version will get a 150 kWh battery with a range of up to 930 km.
