Nissan Kicks – overview
The Nissan Kicks, a small front-wheel drive SUV based on Nissan's V platform, debuted in 2016. The vehicle is produced in Brazil, China and Mexico. The models built in Mexico are sold in the US and Canada. The SUV designed for Asian countries was updated in 2020, acquiring a 129 hp e-Power hybrid system. It consists of an electric motor that rotates the front wheels and a 3-cylinder gasoline engine. The SUV for the American market retained the usual 1.6 gasoline engine, coupled with a CVT and front-wheel drive. On the North American continent, the model took the place of the Nissan Juke. In 2020, another Kicks was released, it is sold in India and is based on the B0 platform.
