Nissan NX Coupe - catalog and technical specifications
First introduced at the 1989 Tokyo Motor Show, the Nissan NX Coupe was introduced in January 1990. The car received an unusual appearance that was ahead of its time. The headlights, which were unusual for those times, were oval in shape and the space capsule was designed by the California Design Center. The Nissan Sunny platform was used as the basis, resulting in 1.5, 1.6 and 1.8-liter engines. The car attracted the buyers of North America, but was not successful in Japan. The model was discontinued until 1994.
