Opel Sintra - catalog and technical specifications
The Opel Sintra is a large minivan produced by Opel for the European market from 1996 to 1999. Interestingly, the computer chose its name randomly from a list of short sonorous words. Designed in collaboration between General Motors Corporation and Opel, the model was actually a remake of the Pontiac Trans Sport model. The Sintra differed from it in a slightly different bumper design, branded radiator grille, different interior and powertrains. The interior turned out to be quite spacious, providing enough room for 8 people, and there was an impressive trunk compartment. The minivan was equipped with Ecotec transverse engines. The entry-level version was equipped with a 2.2-liter gasoline four cylinder engine, which developed 141 hp.
