In 1937, the wealthy Italian Orsi clan bought out the entire auto business of the Maseratti brothers that was virtually ruined. This is how the automaker O.S.C.A. appeared to engage in the manufacturing of power trains and racing cars. The first Osca’s racing model saw the light in 1947. Initially, Osca sports cars participated in Formula 2 races, but already in 1954 the brand's car won the twelve-hour rally in Sebring. In 1958, Osca started manufacturing a modified subcompact model of the legendary racing car. Unfortunately, the company ceased to manufacture its cars in 1962.
