Peugeot 402 generations

The Peugeot 402 is a large family car produced by Peugeot from 1935 to 1942. Following the trends established by the most aerodynamic cars of that era, the car featured a rounded radiator grille, swollen fenders, a very long body with six windows and a two-piece windshield. This conical shape of the Peugeot models was named “Sochaux taper”. However, the Peugeot 402 was distinguished by the original headlights integrated into the grille. The model was equipped with a 1991 cc 4-cylinder engine with 55 hp. The Peugeot 402 was a great success due to its attractive aesthetics, good performance and the best noise isolation at that time.
