Renault Sport Spider – overview
The Renault Sport Spider is a 2-seater rear-wheel drive sports roadster produced by the Renault Sport subsidiary from 1995 to 1999. The model looked very sporty, featuring an open body type, low ground clearance, no radiator grille, air intakes and large rims. It is unlikely that the car could be called comfortable, but it was distinguished by excellent handling and dynamics. The 2.0-litre gasoline direct-injection engine is mounted transversely at the rear. To roadster accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds. The maximum speed was 215 km/h.
