ROX Motor is a Chinese automobile manufacturer headquartered in Shanghai, founded in 2021 by Beijing Roborock Technology, a robot vacuum cleaner and home appliance company, in partnership with IT giant Xiaomi. The company has already managed to take its place in the Chinese market by focusing on working on intelligent automotive platforms. Innovations, philosophy of sustainable development, promotion of environmental principles and search for new energy sources, emphasis on reliability and comfort of cars allowed to interest the largest venture funds, establish cooperation with such world leaders as Continental AG, Bosch, Easy Navigation Intelligence, Pony.ai, CATL. The first and so far only serial ROX model in 2023 was the Jishi 01 crossover: this is the name it bears in China, but it was sent to conquer export markets as the Rox 01. The full-size plug-in hybrid SUV, the exterior of which was worked on by the Pininfarina studio from Italy, is assembled at the facilities of the automaker BAIC. The first ROX expects to receive the European certificate of conformity by the end of 2025. In 2026, the company promises to launch a second car - a 5-seater crossover 02. And in 2027, the brand's flagship will appear - the all-electric SUV Rox 03.
