Scion in Israel

The word "Scion" obviously means "heir". And it’s true for the automotive brand! Scion was created by Japanese Toyota in 2003 specifically for the American market as a youth car brand. The Scion brand sold compact hatchbacks, coupes and sedans based on popular Japanese models. Scion cars that featured a simple but very attractive design, and most importantly, a low price became really popular among young people. However, Toyota decided to discontinue the Scion brand in 2016. Therefore, FR-S, iA and iM models are sold since 2017 as 86, Yaris iA and Corolla iM, respectively, bearing Toyota badges.
